MapleStory Cubing Calculator
Compare five cubes, plan potential tier-ups, and budget for ATT, stat, HP, Xenon, cooldown, critical damage, drop or mesos lines.

KMS-based potential tables: 2023-11-14; GMS rates may differ. Tier-up rates use captured community estimates. Levels 71–119 and 160+ use the archived level approximation. Sources and formulas.
Override only the complete target-roll chance. Tier-up rates stay unchanged. Choose a potential target other than Any.

| Percentile | Cubes | Mesos |
|---|---|---|
| 50% (median) | 102 | 1,269,900,000 |
| 75% | 203 | 2,527,350,000 |
| 80% | 236 | 2,938,200,000 |
| 85% | 278 | 3,461,100,000 |
| 90% | 337 | 4,195,650,000 |
| 95% | 438 | 5,453,100,000 |
Percentiles describe success probability, not guaranteed limits. Tier-up and target rolls are separate stages; a matching roll on the tier-up cube is not credited. An already-met target needs no cubes.
How the calculation works
Compare five cubes, plan potential tier-ups, and budget for ATT, stat, HP, Xenon, cooldown, critical damage, drop or mesos lines.
Open Cubing calculator →
Estimate enhancement mesos and destroyed equipment with Star Catch, Safeguard, MVP discounts and event combinations across six rule sets.
Open Star Force calculator →A cube average tells you how many rolls a target takes across repeated sessions; it does not guarantee a result in your next session. Cubing success budgets show how many cubes reach 50%, 75%, 80%, 85%, 90% or 95% success under the model.
Star Force adds equipment destruction and recovery costs. Compare events before spending: 5/10/15, 30% off and Shining affect different parts of the upgrade path. Choose your region’s rules before comparing two budgets.
All initial answers are available without JavaScript. Changing calculator inputs updates results locally; no account is needed. Potential tables are KMS-based and may differ from GMS. Prices and events are estimates, not live game data.
Separate a potential-line budget from an enhancement budget before deciding where to spend.
Use success budgets for cubes and sample percentiles for Star Force to allow for unlucky sessions.
Keep region, equipment and target fixed while changing just the cube or event.
Regular Potential tiers and lines; budgets are in cubes and mesos.
Enhancement stars; budgets include attempt mesos and separate destruction counts.
Useful across repeated sessions, but does not set a reliable spending cap for one item.
Use Cubing for regular Potential lines and tier-up budgets. Use Star Force for enhancement mesos and destroyed-equipment risk. They spend different resources and answer different questions.
Yes. Each calculator links to related target plans. Those pages open a specific cube, slot or star range so you can start with a relevant scenario and then adjust its inputs.
Yes. In Cubing, enter cubes in your budget and inspect success probability. For Star Force, compare exact averages and sampled percentiles, then add the price of replacement equipment yourself.
Not necessarily. Upgrade outcomes have long tails. Compare the average with a higher success budget and decide how much failure risk you can accept.
Potential tables are KMS-based snapshots, not official GMS guarantees. Star Force has selectable regional and historical rules. Confirm the model matches your server before comparing prices.
Yes. Choose the same slot, level and target for each cube, then compare both count and mesos. A cheaper cube is not automatically the cheaper route to a particular target.
No. Set your own cube prices and choose the applicable Star Force event. The calculators do not read your character, shop or event calendar.
No. Calculator inputs update locally in your browser. Share links encode selected inputs in the URL; do not put private information in them.
Choose the matching rules, set a target, and leave room for unlucky outcomes.
